Greg Duhon, 62, passed away on March 3, 2016, at Providence Portland Medical Center. He followed his passions from California to Utah, but it was Hood River that held his heart for the last 30 years of his life.
Greg was born on July 15, 1953 in Oakland, Calif. He is survived by his daughters Lindsey and Ariel, their spouses Trevor Thorpe and Mike Dunn, and five adoring grandchildren, Atlas, Urban, Rosie, Hugh, and Mabel, his mother, Susie Rydquist, brothers Bob and Kenny, and their significant other and spouse Mary and Kelly. He was also blessed to have a large family of loving Hood River area friends.
Greg had a love for life and always lived on the edge, had fun, and kept good company. From hang-gliding to windsurfing to skiing, and his passion for sailing, he did the best at everything he set his heart to and enjoyed sharing his interests with others. Aside from his passion for extreme sports, he really loved being a father and grandfather.
